Simbi Ladipo is a British-Nigerian designer based in Shanghai

 

Simbi has spent over a decade learning Chinese, not just as a language, but as a tool to connect with people and cultures, much like her approach to design. Her ability to bridge East and West, enable her to create digital experiences that resonate with customers globally.

With roots in industrial design, Simbi is an inventor at heart. She combines creative storytelling with AI technologies to arrive at new outcomes for the future. She is a published writer and passionate keynote speaker on the subjects of design and data intelligence. She has also developed a playbook on integrating AI and design methods, with a focus on keeping human needs at the centre of innovation. ​​When she’s not designing or coding, Simbi enjoys playing for the Shanghai women's netball team.
